Starting from Scratch with Jami Balmet
Jami is a wife, homemaker, and mother of 6 (yes, six!!) young children, with 2 sets of twin boys no less! She blogs and podcasts at Young Wife’s Guide and is the creator of the annual Online Homemaking Conferences.
With all that you’d probably guess that she had quite a foundation in homemaking when she got married at 19, but you’ll find out in this podcast that it couldn’t be any further from the truth! The best part of this story though is that if she can go from having virtually no homemaking skills when she got married to now running her home well (along with an online business!) you can too!
Pour another cup of coffee or tea and be encouraged for the next 35 minutes. And, please do leave a rating and review on iTunes, that is how other homemakers will find this podcast.
Today’s Podcast Covers:
- How Jami went from knowing nothing about caring for a house and family to thriving…
- Where she is now as a homemaker, and how she got there…
- The simple method she used to teach herself to cook healthy meals…
- Learn Jami’s best advice when life gets chaotic or overwhelming…
- How to keep from becoming overwhelmed as you increase your home management skills…
- Knowing what area to tackle first…
- The value of routines…
- How Jami plans to teach her own children about home management…
- and more…
