Christian women are often looking to glean from those older, Titus 2 ladies who can speak truth and wisdom into their lives. These are the type of women I strive to include as guests on the podcast. Recently it was recommended that I invite Valerie Elliot Shepard, daughter of Elizabeth Elliot, to be a guest. I did, she accepted, and this is that interview. You’ll be blessed.
Today’s Podcast
My conversation today is with Valerie Shepard; Pastor’s wife, mother, grandmother and daughter of Elizabeth Elliot. Our conversation focused on motherhood and raising children with firmness and grace. She speaks of her grandmother and mother’s advice to her on this topic and gives us solid instruction on raising respectful children of all ages. You’ll find a detailed list below of most of what we discuss. Again, this will encourage and bless you.

Hi Jennifer,
This podcast has been such a blessing to listen to as I was struggling with my very wilful toddler and its been so calming to listen to solid, Christian advice to raise children especially the bit about being firm but with grace. Its a great initiative and God bless all your works.
Thanks,
Jethu
Pls pray for me to mold our kids .eldest daughter is addicted to utube korean channel bts.shes very adamant and disobedient to me.pls join with me to pray for her future
Yes I pray for her heart to be open, even this moment, to The Savior’s call to her to turn from this sin of disobdience to her Mom. Not knowing her age, I am assuming by the UTube addiction that she is old enought to understand sin and need of The Savior, just rebellious at present which is also sin. Love to all. We all need Him!!!
He is faithful and just to forgive us of all sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness The Bible says so in I. John 1:9 Our loving merciful Savior.
